Attitude to SUCCESS

            Attitude to SUCCESS
        - Oyoko .B.
Many people have defined success in various ways. Because the term is relative, there is no one encompassing definition of success due to the fact that different people have different understanding of the concept. It is usually defined in relation to other people and their achievements. For this article, I will define success as an outcome or the end product of determination, courage and hard work, in other words, the reward of hard work is success.
Success is a choice in life. You either choose to become successful or unsuccessful because everyone has the freedom to choose the consequence of his/her action in life. For you to become successful, you have to put in effort and be hard working, because pursuance to success is a journey of endurance. To achieve a desired success is not a small task, so we have to work hard.
The friends we keep, play a large role in determining how successful we will eventually become. For instance, keeping friends that are lazy will also make you to be lazy no matter how good you are. If you dont have friends to assist in your pursuit of success, then achieving your goals will be difficult in life.

There was once a girl named Benita. She was a beautiful and intelligent girl but because of friends, she was influenced and introduced to men to money. She sheepishly succumbed out of school, left her education and at last, instead of working in an office, she was selling on the street to make ends meet. There she came in contact with one of her old friends in school who came out successfully and now with her car. She stopped by to buy banana on the street and met Benita selling on the same street. Benita regretted what she had done to herself. Some wise sayings have it that: It is too late to cry when the head is off; Time and tide wait for no one. And as we all know, To get gold, you must dig dip. Therefore, there is no substitute for hard work if you must be successful.
