Save our Children

Article by Ihenacho Michael 'Internally Displaced Children, Almajiri Boys, Street kids are Nigerian Children.. the children we neglect today will end up causing nuisance in the society tomorrow TGF Online In the face of the prominent strengths evident in Nigeria: being the largest black populated country in Africa, and that in every fourth African is a Nigerian ( Ngboawaji et al, No date) , there are no records of streets children. This in addition includes Almajiri boys and internally displaced children. This phenomenon is primarily attributed to breakdown in families, associated with most polygamous families. All pupils must be encouraged to read widely across both fiction and non-fiction to develop their knowledge of themselves and in world in which they live, to establish an appreciation and love of reading. ...

You either choose to become successful or unsuccessful because everyone has the freedom to choose the consequence of his/her action in life. For you to become successful, you have to put in effort and be hard working, because pursuance to success is a journey of endurance. To achieve a desired success is not a small task, so we have to work hard. The friends we keep, play a large role in determining h...

FAMILY: The Smallest Unit of a Nation

FAMILY: The Smallest Unit of a Nation -          Yikwab Andeyantso There is no doubt that the family is a microcosm of the larger society, a mirrored image of what every community or nation looks like. Like the cell in every living organism, the family is the smallest functional unit of the society and constitute what the builders will call building-blocks, without which no house can come into being. But unlike the builders block children are almost always chips off the old block; they look and behave like their parents. This is borne out of the fact that the first port of call for every child coming into this world is the family and every trait exhibited by the child later in life is learnt and internalized through the childs interaction with his/her family (family orientation). This is aside from their natural inherited characteristics from the parents. Now when parents express shock at certain behavioral traits exhibited by their children/w...
