WHY JOIN US???

A long habit of not thinking a thing wrong, gives it a superficial appearance of being right Thomas Paine.

The social vices in the society is carried out mainly by youths in the society. The world is slowly becoming a globe full of unrest and at the center of it all, are young people, the youths. From the IS in the middle-east, to Boko Haram in North-eastern Nigeria, to the Niger Delta Avengers (NDA) and Joint Niger Delta Liberation Force (JNDLF) in the Niger-delta region of Nigeria, to al-Shabaabshootings in Kenya, to the ISIS shootings and hostage taking in Dhaka, Bangladesh, it cannot be totally ruled out that violence and vices is now popular among young people. There is therefore the dire need for a re-orientation of the minds of young people to desist from engaging in these thereby depopularizing vices and violence.

In commemoration of the 2016 International Youth Day, join us on Twitter @teenzglobal by 4:00pm (Nigerian time) using the following hashtags: #IYDNigeria and #TGF4Peace; as we set the perspective on reasons why youths should disengage from violence in all its forms and preferably engage in activities that help build and improve the societies they find themselves.

It starts with you!

TRICIAS THURSDAY TALE

I particularly like Thursdays, perhaps because it tells me that the week is rounding up, and if I can cope from Monday till now, the rest is not a problem, or maybe because Thursdays are lecture free days for me. I checked my phone, 3:05pm, really? I thought I had slept more than that? Now what will I do today, I want today to be special and not particularly filled assignments and reading. Just then my phone beeped! Yea, I have not been online this morning. It was a WhatsApp message from Candycrush, who is Candycrush by the way? Candycrush? Oh yea, I remember her, my course mate I just met yesterday. Hanging out? I really dont know her that much to hang out with her, but I do know she is one of the big hits in the class, classy and brilliant, so whatever hanging out she might want to do will be ok, and in a way I feel honored that she invited me. Moreover I need today to be special. So I texted her back in agreement. The hang out was off campus, and by the time I got there, it was 5:1...

Dont Give Up     By princess 17 years old The rain falls both for the good and bad people The sun lightens the day only to those who have eyes to see Orphans were not made but born Nobody can correctly calculate the distance   between  Heaven and earth but surely it has a limit                                                                                                         There can never be a stagnant river until It becomes a Lake The sun can never rise from the West neither Will the darkness prevent the Day Light? From approaching I have never seen a K blood group Neither do I believe in co-incidence Surely when the darkness is through With its night duty; daylight takes over its     ...
