Sorry, But you Missed it.

Yeah, you missed it, You might be wondering what you missed right? You missed the Development Hub program organized by Teenz Global. But nevertheless I would launch you into Adepoju Rachael's personal experience about it. (luck you!)

The Leadership and Entrepreneurship Skill Acquisition and training was organized by TeenZ Global Foundation from the 25th to 29th July, 2016. This training was directed by Miss Juliana Oboh and of course supervised by Mrs. Ijeoma Sorochi Okorie. This few days I attended the training, I learnt a lot I cant even comprehend. I can boldly say it was worth the time and money because it is an opportunity one can hardly get.

Firstly, the sessions taken for few minutes before the practical was very educating. I learnt about servant leadership and also the foresight a leader is meant to have for good leadership. I learnt also, all about entrepreneurship I need to know and how I can plan and manage my business. We were taught the steps and types of management and I am convinced that if you can follow the steps, you will pull through as an entrepreneur.
Furthermore, I learnt how to plan and manage my time also in order to yield positive result in Planning and Time Management.
I was taught how to control my world of business as entrepreneur, how to think out of the box.
It means being exceptional, different, standing out in your business career. I learnt there are three main things you need to think out of the box: active listening skills, good communication skills and also a positive attitude. Its necessary to have these three main things in order to be exceptional. Others like assertiveness (knowing what you want), manners (helps in being innovative), sensitivity (being sensitive to peoples feelings), accountability and lastly resolving conflict. I learnt that whenever you have a serious misunderstanding with someone that leads to conflict, try your best not to avoid it but approach it in order for it to lead to its resolution.
Moreover, I joined the ICT class for practical skills and I can tell you that the knowledge acquired now is a lot more than I thought. We discussed about YouTube I learnt how to upload a video (free of charge), I was also informed about Ads (advertisement) on YouTube and the types. I also learnt about the website, national Technology competition created for secondary school students who have interest in ICT and some developments. I also learnt a scenario where a person with a few number of videos through Ads can earn more money than a person with so many views with the help of some mathematical calculations.
Again, we were taught Programming on how we can create a quiz or test (CBT) using editor, an offline server and also a web browser. We were also taught on how we can design a web (web designing). Again, I learnt the types of tags we have and the meaning of some acronyms in computer programming. Not only have I acquired the knowledge of creating a computer program but also how to use it to make CBT and their provided answer.
Furthermore, I learnt on harnessing my potentials and setting up a standard for myself in order to have a successful business. I also learnt about record-keeping and financial management and the essence and importance of keeping your business records and also managing your business records and also managing your income (finance) properly. We were not only taught how to manage your business and be exceptional by setting a standard and coming out nice and great as an entrepreneur.
